The natural vacuum creates a grip in the new denture. But with time, as the gums recede and the denture slips off. Ezo cushion adhesive helps in recreating the natural vacuum that helps keep the denture in position. Ezo cushions are a temporary aid to hold the loosely fit dentures. With the vacuum created, the hold and fit is better. Neither is the taste and odor unpleasant nor is it messy. The cushion adhesive is used only in complete dentures.

Formulation of Ezo Cushion adhesive are –

• Corn Oil
• Paraffin wax
• Food Colour
• Pure Cotton Flannel

These ingredients make the cushions durable and denture friendly. Because it is a cushion, it does not cause any discomfort in the mouth. The grip caused by vacuum holds the plate.

Package –

Ezo cushion adhesive comes separately for upper and lower dentures as they vary in their shape and size. The upper denture adhesive packet consists of 12 cushions and the lower denture packet contains 15 cushions. The color coding is also different for both the packs. Lower denture cushions come in pink and blue packet whereas the upper cushion adhesives come in yellow and blue packaging. Color coding makes it easier for people to pick the right adhesive quickly. Each packet of adhesive cushion weighs around 9.6 ounces.

How to apply the adhesive cushion on the denture and mouth?

1. The Ezo cushion is rinsed in warm water for few seconds to soften it.
2. Now hold the denture in a way such that the back faces up and the teeth faces down. Place and press the Ezo cushions in to the groove. If required, trim the excess cushion with scissors for a better fit denture.
3. Hold the denture in mouth firmly for 2 min. You could feel that the cushion adapts to the gums. This gives a satisfactory feeling.
